Introduction

Born in 1980 in Fuxin, Liaoning province, Sun Xun graduated in 2005 from the printmaking department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China. While mainly a video artist, Sun Xun has also produced numerous drawings and mixed media works in which a central character, usually a magician, explores an apocalyptic and oneiric world.
